“Initially I wanted coaching help because over the last 10 years I have used multiple personal trainers to arrive at the same place physically, mentally and emotionally. As someone who regularly consumed a lot of social media "fitness advice", I was under the illusion that my "ideal physique" was a matter of getting on a new workout programme, or utilising a diet like Keto or Paleo, which I have tried at various stages in the last decade with varying degrees of success. ...the biggest difference in working with you is that you always dug down into the WHY of something instead of just going over the how. Whenever we'd meet, we'd talk about goals, whether it was a target protein number or upping time in the gym, and that was always helpful, but it never stopped at that; you'd ask how I FELT about those plans, and if there were sticking points, you'd talk through them with me to get to the root issue…. As a business owner, I didn't realize how many meals I was eating in my car 'on-the-go' and what a negative impact it had on not only my body composition, but also just the fact that I clearly didn't give any time to myself! It's crazy (and also, kind of sad to realize.) Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I now carve out some time every day near the sun to have lunch, even if it's for 10 minutes. The REITERATIVE full course taught me that there is actually SO much room for flexibility.... my preconceived notions around what 'nutrition' constituted of were shattered. The fact that I can include ice cream on a daily basis and STILL slowly lose body fat right now is mind blowing to me. It turns out I needed to reframe how I saw ice cream (as something neutral, and not "off-limits."

What have I learned? 1. Taking just a little time to check in with myself, review my week, my emotional state, things on my mind and things I want to achieve. This is immensely helpful and I will be incorporating this into my spiritual practices moving forward as I used to be a big practitioner of keeping a spiritual journal. Thanks to Ash I have gotten back in touch with this aspect of my wellbeing I forgot I had even been neglecting. 2. Enjoying the little things: Having the cake at Christmas, or having that donut at the fair. It's okay to enjoy the variety that life has to offer, and eating the occasional calorie dense food is not "sabotaging" my fitness.

Coach Ash started as a personal trainer, SoulCycle instructor, and Barry's Bootcamp group fitness instructor before transitioning into the S&C (Strength and Conditioning) space. Within her private coaching practice, she has worked with >100 athletes and nutrition clients over the last 8 years. Her objective is simple: to help you help yourself in all things training and nutrition-related. After dozens of client case studies, she firmly believes that the "best" way to accomplish your fitness & nutrition goals is to ensure that they're fully aligned with your identity and personal interests.
